Our beginning is rooted in 1976 when George and Evelyn Tournahu purchased a small vineyard in the heart of St. Helena, Napa Valley.
St. Helena's signature Perkins terroir—gravel, river rocks, and alluvial soils—has shaped Tournahu Vineyards and our winemaking philosophy, guiding us toward a restrained approach that respects the land's natural expression while aiming for grace, balance, and aging potential rather than extraction and overwhelming ripeness.
